What happens when you mix the warm comfort of wood with the cold feel of mechanics? You get something very similar to designer William Mecker's Kanagawa Kinetic Coffee Table. The table has nearly 300 pieces of laser-cut wood, dowels, "o" rings, and conduit set into motion via hand crank. The top of the table features a glass top so you can see the wooden mechanics in action. This is a pretty interesting way to have your morning brew. What other unique coffee tables have you come across?
